This song is the acknowledgment of what that kind of love actually means to someone wired for restlessness — it doesn't cage you, it anchors you just enough to keep finding your way back.
Emotional Arc
Opens with the self-portrait of a driven drifter — can't hang her hat up, can't stand still. The pre-chorus is where he enters: came in strong and steady when she was ready for some roots. The chorus is the declaration — he's the constant she navigates by. Verse 2 shows the cost of the dream honestly: I hate the space this creates between us. Echoes North Star's bridge: "I roam but I return, I wonder but ain't lost." Chasing Comets is early ambition. North Star is earned wisdom.
